auroras is pleased to present a brief exhibition of works articulated from proposals by artists. It is a set of completely heterogeneous works, without a specific grouping criterion, in order to make evident that the ensemble does not seek to illustrate a curatorial conception. We can only verticalize the unique experience of each work or investigate possible approaches and unintentional associations within the recent production of these artists.

Although the selection of the works was made from the proposals received for the Projects Room open call, the organization of this brief exhibition is completely autonomous in relation to the previous process. By no means, however, is this exhibition intended to be a panorama of contemporary young production. It is only a result of the enthusiasm that this production caused within auroras’ team and the will to see these projects materialized in the space.

The exhibition includes works by Ana Matheus Abbade, Antonia Baudouin & Antonio Malta Campos, Carla Santana, Felipe Barsuglia, Gilson Rodrigues, Guilherme Callegari, Jozias Benedicto, Maya Weishof, Paul Setúbal & Dora Smék, Ricardo Alves, Shizue Sakamoto, Stephanie Lucchese, Tangerine Bruno and Thais Stoklos.
