Auroras is honored to announce the first exhibition in Brazil of Renée Green (Cleveland, USA, 1959), a renowned artist, filmmaker, and writer. The exhibition showcases Green’s international practice, spanning four decades of work and employing a wide range of media—painting, sculptures, installations, film, video, sound works, Space Poems, architectural arrangements, among others—reflecting the effects of a transforming transcultural sphere and what can now be made and thought.

Following a residency at auroras in early 2024, Green carefully selected three sets of works from different decades for this exhibition, which resonate with the modernist architecture of the space, as well as the artist’s ongoing poetic, historical, and personal relationship with Brazil.
